PUA is a cult

In 2005 a book called The Game: Penetrating The Secret Society of Pickup Artists by Neil Strauss came out.

The book is about men who believe they can seduce women skilfully using special techniques. One of the main protagonists is Erik von Markovic. A self styled guru of seduction charging several thousand dollars for his tuition courses known colloquially as bootcamps.

There are many of these said gurus and they have a masturbatory ranking on popular websites such as thundercat. One such guru, once ranked as number 1 in the world, is AFC Adam Lyons.

You may be wondering who I am and how I know all of this. The answer is that I am the cousin of a famous seduction guru – Richard Gambler La Ruina and I worked as a master trainer of pickup for his company PUA Training for several years.

In my years of working as a seduction coach I found it very difficult to confront disgruntled students. I was often put in many awkward situations – having to convince sceptical students that what I was espousing on behalf of my cousin was truth.

The truth is however that PUA Training is a cult and seduction gurus are cult leaders. All will be explained in due course on this blog.
